Terms of Service
These terms set out your rights and ours when you use StowCargo. Please read them before you open an account. Last updated: 27 October 2026.
1.Parties and acceptance
These terms govern the relationship between the person or company using the StowCargo service at stowcargo.com (“Customer” or “you”) and the company that provides the StowCargo service (“StowCargo” or “the provider”).
By opening an account, requesting a subscription or using the service, you accept these terms. If you open an account for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. Sales, payment and refunds are covered by the Sales Terms and personal data by the Privacy Policy; both form part of these terms.
On-prem installations of StowCargo are governed by a separate written licence agreement; these terms apply where that agreement is silent.
2.The service
StowCargo is web-based load planning software for trucks, trailers and containers. You enter a packing list and choose a vehicle; the software arranges the load in your browser and provides a 3D drawing, axle load estimates, securing suggestions, a report, sequence labels and step-by-step loading on a phone in the warehouse. The Business plan adds an ERP API and webhooks.
We keep developing the service and may change, improve or replace features; we will not reduce the core functions of your paid plan to your detriment during a paid period.
3.Your account and security
You must give accurate account details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password secret, for who you add to your team and with which role, and for activity under your account. If you notice unauthorised use, change your password and tell us immediately.
Warehouse links need no account; it is your decision who receives them. Anyone with the link can see that plan’s loading details.
4.Your data
Packing lists, plans, photos and other content you enter (“Customer Data”) belong to you. You give us a limited, non-transferable permission to store, process, display and pass it on to the people or systems you choose, solely to provide the service. We do not use Customer Data for any other purpose and we do not sell it.
If Customer Data includes other people’s personal data (for example consignee names), you confirm that you have a lawful basis for doing so and have given them any required notice.
5.Acceptable use
When using the service you agree not to:
- reverse engineer, copy or use the software, the packing engine or the server interfaces to build a competing product (except where the law allows);
- circumvent subscription or permission checks, or try to access another customer’s account or data;
- abuse the API or warehouse links, try to get around rate limits, or send automated traffic that overloads the service;
- upload malware, unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights;
- probe or attack the service without permission; if you find a vulnerability, please report it to us.
6.Subscriptions, users and roles
Planning on stowcargo.com requires an account and an active subscription; there is no free plan, and a trial is given only where StowCargo grants one separately, for the period stated. Plans, prices, payment, renewal and refunds are set out in the Sales Terms.
Team and Business plans are priced per user, and you can add as many admins or members as your subscription covers. Viewer and customer users are free. Team admins add and remove users and set their roles.
7.ERP API keys
ERP API keys are secrets that give access to your account. You are responsible for storing them securely, giving them only to authorised systems and revoking any key you suspect has leaked. Requests made with a key are treated as made by you. We may suspend a key temporarily if we see abuse or traffic that endangers the service.
8.Nature of the service and warranty
StowCargo is a decision-support tool. Load plans, axle load figures and securing suggestions are estimates based on the data you enter and on typical vehicle dimensions. The final decision on actual vehicle dimensions, legal axle and gross weight limits, load securing and transport safety rests with the shipper, the carrier and the driver. Check your vehicle’s real dimensions and limits before following a plan.
We provide the service “as is”, with reasonable care and skill. Unless agreed separately in writing, we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or any particular uptime. We try to schedule maintenance and updates at quiet times.
9.Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost business, delays, fines or freight differences.
These limits do not apply to intent or gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or where mandatory law, in particular consumer protection law, does not allow liability to be limited.
10.Intellectual property
The StowCargo software, packing engine, interface, documentation and brand belong to the provider. During your subscription you may use the service for your own business; this right is non-transferable and may not be sublicensed. Reports, labels and exported files are yours to use freely in your business. We may use suggestions and feedback you send us to improve the product without any obligation to you.
11.Suspension and termination
You can end your subscription at any time by not renewing it at the end of the period. We may suspend or close your account or API keys for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, where the security of the service is at risk, or where the law requires it. Unless urgent, we will warn you first and give you reasonable time to fix the issue.
12.Your data after termination
When a subscription ends or is not renewed, planning access closes but your data is not deleted: you can still read and download your archive. If you ask us to export or delete your data, we will do so, except for records we must keep by law.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will announce significant changes by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, you may choose not to renew; your paid period continues under the terms in force when it began.
14.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
Consumers may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee where they live or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits announced annually by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, and to the Consumer Courts above those limits.
For disputes with customers who are merchants or public bodies, the courts and enforcement offices at the provider’s registered seat have jurisdiction.
